Situated 30 minuts flight from Mahe with a daily air Seychelles charter flight , Bird Island is surrounded by white sandy beaches , a lush tropical nature and a lagoon which invites you to discover the underwater with its big varieties of fish and corals!!!! At the time of nesting Stern Birds (May to October) it is really impressive! but all year round there is plenty of various species of Birds .(24 different species - 6 are unique and can only be seen in Bird Island) The underwater shore is very rich and if you are lucky you will maybe sea one of the green turtles coming  on one of the beaches ( mid october to January) deliver their eggs ( march) . 
The Lodge is simple but comfortable with all necessaries simple comodites  to live a unique Robinson experience ! No TV !!

This island is impressive at the time of tern nesting (May to September) for ornithologists otherwise it is very pleasant the rest of the year with very pretty seabed. The lodge is simple but offers quality service. Ideal for lovers looking for a lost island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Flights are compulsory at the same time as the hotel reservation! ban on spending the day at the hotel without staying there!

Among the 24 species of birds listed in the Seychelles 7 are unique on the island of Bird Island. You will see among other things the splendid Phaeton with Yellow Beak or a Red Barge, at the end of March April migration of sooty terns by tens of thousands in the north of the island ... throughout the year you will observe no less than 20 different bird species on the island! An unforgettable experience ...

Between mid October and mid January the turtles come to lay their eggs on the beaches of the island and you will surely have the chance to see at least one and between mid December and mid March you will see the baby turtles running towards the sea (with a little luck !!!) ...

Offering comfort and hospitality in a breathtaking environment, the Bird Island Lodge hotel offers 7 villas 6 of 2 bedrooms and 1 of 3 bedrooms, simple and naturally ventilated, in a coconut grove on the edge of one of the most magnificent beaches of the Seychelles. To respect the balance and the unique spirit of the island, the hotel does not offer air conditioning, telephones in the rooms, no television, and no swimming pool.

Disabled access available at the hotel and in some bungalows. The island being a nature reserve hosting millions of birds of 20 different species, and a major nesting site for sea turtles, the watchword of the owners of the island is the conservation of the existing ecosystem. Thus, many discovery activities are organized by the experienced staff of the island to learn about the surrounding flora and fauna.
The 6 villas 2 bedrooms and 1 villa 3 bedrooms king size bed and 2 small sofa beds ideal for 2 adults and 2 children complete with staff you will live a unique experience! 

Each villa is made up of 2 or 3 ventilated bedrooms (there is no air conditioning on the island) 1 bathroom shower a living room and a large terrace! Outside a nice building, dining room and open air covered kitchen.

The hotel is sold on an accommodation only formula.There is a shop to buy food (you can inform the hotel of your needs before arrival in order to order the groceries that will be brought to the island in advance for your stay but this is subject to a prior order and confirmation from the hotel); in the evening possibility of going to dinner at the restaurant with supplement and on reservation.
The Island prides itself on producing its own fruits and vegetables that grow naturally organically.

The 6 Two Bedroom Villas are 68sqm room equipped with a large double bed and 2 small sofa beds for young kids. There is a private bathroom with shower and solar heater ; a corner lounge and a safe. Please note that there is no air cond ( no A/C - natural ventilation and ceiling fans ensure the rooms are always kept cool) but there is room fan. Free WiFi. Outside there is a private kitchen Bar Lunge size 38sqm which coverd indoor and outdoor living space and is equipped with a refrigerator a microwave coffee machine water dispenser with free refills. There is a dining area and lounge chairs. Telephone, fax and E-mail are only available at their office. No swimming pool as the beach already offers excellent and safe swimming Guests are allowed maximum allowance of 15KG of luggage per person *When a reservation is made, the price do not include the return flight you must book it in pour web site on domestic flight Mahe Bird Island and return Bird Island Mahe at all times.
